The first chapter.
“Little One (We’ve Been Waiting for You)” is both a lullaby and an ode.
I wrote it just ten days after my son was born.
It describes the quiet, overwhelming awe of becoming a parent—and the deep rhythm of waiting with love.
Each lyric holds the tenderness of imagining who he might become, and the sacred joy of preparing a place for him in the world.
This is the first single from my debut solo album, The Wonderful Life of Brother GoodLove—a record stitched from love, ancestry, and the stories we carry forward.
